In LIFE, as in gardening, we start with the soil.

Underlying this site are striated layers, evidence of wandering, observing, evaluating, appreciating, and confronting the busy silence surrounding us on our journeys. In our seasons, we experience periods of emergent growth, robust fruiting, death, and decay, waiting to nourish other growing things. Where we pause in that cycle, we have no control. We may influence what stays and what gets pulled out of the garden space. We have only to cast a critical eye across our fruits, and with intention, tidy the tendrils, nurture the ground, and prepare for change. We hope you will spend a little bit of time with us, contemplating the tiny fractures or yawning fault-lines in the world we inhabit together. Consider surprising harvests a bench along the path where you, our visitor, may find a place to rest, look up, and wonder with us. There are no weeds in the Master’s Garden.

I got a link from a friend of mine who found this article about finding a husband. it’s old but she thought I needed to read it. It was encouraging to know I am not alone in the wait-but-keep-on living category. I will be returning for more and I LOVE the cat pictures in the galery.

Where do you find so many fantastic pictures? And the garden humor throughout is fun to find. I hope you keep this blog going for years to come.

I am not a big blog reader but what I have seen so far is…interesting and certainly has “voice” and personality. I think that’s a good thing. Keep on sending posts our way.
